"I'm happy to have opened up our spring season against a strong team like Daemen. They are some of the best players we will see all year, and it's a good litmus test for us to see where we are at, what we can do to improve, and what great tennis looks like," said Head Coach Jordan Crouch. "Despite the scores, I am proud of the overall effort and what the guys were working on. We spoke before the match about how we wanted to play today, and I think we executed that game plan well. We played an aggressive brand of tennis. I am excited to continue to refine those tactics moving forward as we develop into the team we're going to be."

Houghton returns to action when they host Lycoming on Thursday, March 20 at 4 p.m.
