The Houghton University Athletics Advisory Board is made up of alumni and friends who provide counsel to the Houghton Department of Athletics. They are proponents of the mission of the department and seek to encourage, strengthen and support the department's coaches, staff and student-athletes as they live out that mission.

While providing leadership, vision and direction to the department, they assist with projects related to marketing, fundraising, alumni relations and recruitment.

In addition, the AAB manages the nomination and selection process for the Highlander Hall of Honor.
