HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton men's tennis Head Coach Zach Shilvock is pleased to announce his four-member 2021-22 recruiting class.

The group includes three freshmen and a transfer, who will join a returning core of seven players. That squad -- along with three graduating seniors -- captured the program's first Empire 8 Tournament Championship and advanced to the 2021 NCAA National Tournament this spring.

The newcomers hail from New York (2), Maryland and Canada.

Below is the list of new players as well as comments by Shilvock.

Noah Harley
Bel Air, MD / Patterson Mill High School

Noah is an all around student-athlete who is going to be a great addition to our team culture. He is a hard worker and will add immediate depth to our team.

Isaac Little
Alfred Station, NY / Alfred-Almond High School / Alfred University

Isaac has proven he is a solid college tennis player at AU. He will provide immediate improvement to our roster, but the leadership and work ethic he will bring to our team is invaluable. I am excited to have him in a Highlander uniform.

Jaimie Staerkle
Kelowna, BC, Canada / Immaculata High School

Jaimie hits a solid ball and is going to be a great contributor to our team for years to come. I am excited to see the impact he will have on our team right away.

Nolan Zach
Penfield, NY / Penfield High School

Nolan is a hard worker and has a pure love for the game of tennis. He is a late starter to the game, but hits a ball far beyond his playing years. The sky is the limit in terms of his development and future impact.
