Box Score HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The Highlanders fell to Sage College falling to 0-5 in conference play. Quinn Hull netted the first goal of the game but the Gators answered back with less than a minute later. Sage was able to add two more goals and hold the Highlanders from scoring for the remainder of the first quarter. The Gators continued to drive in the second quarter scoring two goals in 30 seconds followed by 3 more just minutes later. The Highlanders were able to find the net for two goals with just over two minutes left in the half. The Gator led 8-3 going into halftime.
 
The Gators once again found the net in the third quarter before the Highlanders answered back with two goals from Nathan Anderson to close out the quarter. Sage found the two of the first three goals in the final quarter before the Highlanders went on a three goal run. The Gators grabbed one final goal to end the game 12-9.
