HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton men's tennis got its third win of the season with a 9-0 decision over D'Youville College in the Kerr-Pegula Field House on Saturday.
Singles wins went to
Zach Shilvock (Alexander, NY , Alexander HS),
Jordan Scott (Burlington, ON, Canada, Notre Dame Secondary),
Connor Barnes (Sodus, NY, Sodus),
Ethan Baker (Ballston Lake, NY , Ballston Spa HS),
Matthew Greer (Spencerport, NY, Churchville-Chili) and
Holden Cole (Richburg, NY, Bolivar-Richburg).Â
The following tandems won their doubles matches: Shilvock and Scott, Greer and Barnes, and Baker and Cole.
The Highlanders lost just one set on the afternoon.
Houghton (3-4) opens Empire 8 play when they travel to take on Utica on Friday, April 1.
