"It was important for us to compete in one more tournament before Nationals," said Head Coach Ben Campbell. "The weather was great for mid-March, and our teams knew what they had to do to play well. Our A team finished the singles portion of the tournament with a 5 stroke lead, and never looked back. We know the competition at Nationals will be good and we have to put in the time the next 2 weeks to prepare ourselves physically and mentally for a long week of disc golf."
Currently, Houghton's teams will compete in D2, D3, and Women's D1 for a national championship.
The Highlanders will travel to Rock Hill, SC for the Collegiate Disc Golf National Championships which will take place April 2-5.
