HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton women's soccer forward Hope Russell has been named a United Soccer Coaches Second Team NCAA Division III All-Region selection for the 2025 season.

The first-year player led the Highlanders and was third in the Empire 8 with 10 goals on the campaign. Her five game-winning goals led the E8. She also was tied for the conference lead with 70 shots and was second with 39 shots on goal.

Russell, a Second Team All-E8 selection, helped lead Houghton to its highest win total in 10 seasons.
