HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Seven members of the Houghton women's track & field team have been recognized with All-Conference honors by the Empire 8 Conference.

To be named an E8 All-Conference selection, a student-athlete must have finished in the top two of an event at the Conference's Championship Meet. Winners of the event are named to the First Team, while the Second Team is comprised of the runner-up from each event.
 
The Empire 8 will name its formal 2021 Outdoor Track and Field yearly award winners and Sportswoman of the Year team after nationals, which are scheduled for May 27-29.

Following are the Houghton women to be recognized:

First Team
Edena Sanchez: 400 meters, 800 meters, 4x800 relay
Julia Hotchkiss: 4x800 relay
Elisabeth Kettinger: 4x800 relay
Leah O'Connell: 4x800 relay
Hayden Williamson: High Jump
Amanda Burrichter: 1,500 meters

Second Team
Alyssa Lyon: Discus
