BRADFORD, Pa. — The Houghton University men's soccer team scored three unanswered goals to rally from an early deficit and defeat Pitt-Bradford, 3-1, Tuesday evening at Rathburn Family Field. The Highlanders improve to 2-1-1 on the season, while Pitt-Bradford falls to 1-2-0.

Pitt-Bradford struck first just 2:18 into the match when Bailee Verdill scored off an assist from Andy Mangold.
Houghton answered in the 17th minute when Pedro Rebello found the back of the net off an assist from James Fay, evening the match at 1-1.
The Highlanders took the lead in the 36th minute. Samuel O'Brien scored off a pass from Noah Berg to give Houghton a 2-1 advantage heading into halftime.
Houghton added an insurance goal in the 87th minute when John Fay scored off an assist from Nata Souza, securing the 3-1 victory.
The Highlanders finished with a 14-7 advantage in shots and put eight shots on goal compared to five for Pitt-Bradford. Houghton also held a 6-4 edge in corner kicks.
