HOUGHTON, N.Y. — The Houghton University men's soccer team dropped a 5-1 decision to Saint Vincent College Friday evening at Burke Field. The Highlanders fall to 1-1-0 overall, while Saint Vincent improves to 1-1-0.

Game Flow
Houghton took the lead in the 25th minute when Cruz scored at 24:24. Nata Souza and Noah Berg assisted on the goal. Saint Vincent responded less than two minutes later, with Jack Billick scoring at 26:12 to send the teams into halftime tied, 1-1.
Saint Vincent took the lead at 51:18 when Cameron Mulvanny scored. The Bearcats added three more goals in the final 16 minutes, with Oziel Bonola-Soriano scoring at 74:22, Javier Torres scoring at 75:23 and Nick Johnson adding the final goal at 80:43.
Houghton finished with 11 shots to Saint Vincent's 14 and held a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks. McLamb made three saves for the Highlanders, while Saint Vincent goalkeeper Grant Archuleta also made three saves.
