LANCASTER, PA – Six different Houghton players combined to score nine goals, as the Highlanders drew even on the season with a resounding 9-0 win over the Lancaster Bible Chargers.
The Chargers held the Highlanders at bay until the 13
th minute, when
Adria Hartzler struck paydirt for her first goal of the season.
Houghton then opened up the game in the second quarter, finding the back of the cage three times in a nine-minute stretch to enter the half up, 4-0.
The second half brought more the same, as the Highlanders continued to find their scoring touch, putting away two in the third, and three more in the fourth.
