GAME ONE:
The Highlanders rapped out 10 hits, including six for extra bases, while amassing seven walks and nine hit-by-pitches.

Houghton pushed 13 runs across in the first four innings, including a five-run third in which Willan Armes hit his first career homerun to left, followed by an RBI double by JD Robinson and an RBI triple by Christian Tortorici.

Tortorici and Nate Hall both went 2-for-3, while Danny Bratton picked up his second win of the year.  Lukas Cornell and Mathew Gross each tossed a scoreless inning in relief without allowing a hit.

GAME TWO:
Mark Lewandowski improved to 2-0 on the season, throwing five innings and allowing only four hits and one walk, while striking out five.

The Highlanders plated a pair in both the second and third innings to take a 4-0 lead, but Alfred battled back as the two teams traded runs in the latter innings.

With Houghton clinging to a 6-3 lead in the top of the seventh, a dropped fly ball and a pair of hits pulled the Saxons within a run, 6-5.  But with the tying run on first, Nate Tyler induced the game-ending fly ball to seal the win.
