Keuka Sinks Highlanders in 13

HOUGHTON, NY— The Keuka Wolves scored three runs in the top of the 13th inning despite only one base hit leaving the infield, defeating the Houghton Highlanders, 7-5.

With the score tied, 4-4, in the top of the 13th, the Wolves took advantage of an infield single, a base hit to left, three consecutive walks, a hit-by-pitch, and three wild pitches.

While the Highlanders scored a single run in the bottom half of the inning, they stranded two more and could not push across the tying run.

Houghton left 12 men on base throughout the game (Keuka, 18), including multiple innings where they placed runners in scoring position with less than two outs but failed to score.
