Highlanders Stun Geneseo in Dominant Upset

HOUGHTON, NY – Tabitha DeVries scored a season-best 21 points as the Houghton Highlanders turned in, undoubtedly, their most complete game of the season, knocking off the previously-undefeated-in-Empire 8-play Geneseo Knights in dominant fashion, 77-53.
 
The Highlanders jumped out to an early 17-10 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, winning every quarter by at least four points. 
 
At the half, Houghton led, 36-25, and that lead only continued to grow throughout the second half.
