HOUGHTON, NY – A high-powered Houghton offense scored 58 points in the first half, cruising a to a 90-51 victory over the SUNY Poly Wildcats on Saturday afternoon.
Houghton shot a scorching 58 percent from the floor in the first half, including hitting 7-of-11 (64 percent) from three-point range.
In the first quarter alone, the Highlanders generated 10 turnovers while giving the ball away only two times, setting an early tone they would keep throughout the entirety of the game.
