HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton women's tennis fell at home, 6-1, to Geneseo on Wednesday afternoon.

The lone win for the Highlanders came from Victoria Martinez who took down her opponent, 6-4, 6-4, in fifth singles. Sage Brinckerhoff and Arija Grant played strong at first and second singles, respectively, earning key points through each match, but came up short.

Houghton is back in action on Tuesday, September 30 for a 3 p.m. match at Cortland.
