HOUGHTON, NY – Adria Hartzler scored two goals in the first quarter as the Houghton Highlanders cruised to a season-opening win over the Lancaster Bible Chargers, 3-0.
Hartzler peppered the back of the cage just over six-and-a-half minutes into game after receiving a crisp pass from
Lilyana Good.
Three minutes later, Hartzler struck again, beating multiple defenders into the circle and putting away her second score of the game.
Houghton rounded out their scoring two minutes into the second quarter when
Ava Kramp slid a perfect pass to
Kylee Barshinger.
