HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Nine members of the Houghton men's and women's cross country and track & field program have been named to the CSC Academic All-District team for their work in the classroom.

Honorees must have a minimum GPA of 3.50, be sophomores athletically and academically and have performances ranked among the top 50 in the region.

The following Highlander student-athletes earned the honor:

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Cross Country and Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Linenfelser and Brewster have also been nominated for the CSC Academic All-America team which will be announced later this summer.
