HOUGHTON, NY – The Highlanders honored three of their own on senior night and capped off the special night with a 3-0 victory against Carlow University.

Tonight's match was a special event as the Highlanders honored their three seniors, Luke George, Devin Burns, and Luke Yelle, for their contributions to the men's volleyball program over the course of the last two years. As the match began, Houghton was in complete control of the match. They dominated on both sides of the ball and hit a season high .361.
 
Throughout the match, many of the Highlanders made big contributions. Houghton won the first set 25-16. Using the momentum from the first set, the Highlanders continued on their offensive rout that gave them a set 2 victory.
 
With the first win within their grasp, the Highlanders continued their great team play and won the third set 25-14 giving them the 3-0 sweep of Carlow University.
