Houghton Drops Two at St. John Fisher and Nazareth

ROCHESTER, NY - The Houghton men's volleyball team made the short trip to Rochester, NY to face off against two familiar opponents, St. John Fisher and Nazareth. Houghton dropped both match-ups 3-0.

Recap: The Highlanders traveled to St. John Fisher to take on a tough Cardinal squad. The Cardinals put together an impressive offensive and defensive game plan and it was tough for Houghton to find any offensive rhythm. On the defensive front, the Highlanders were unable to stop the Cardinals attackers allowing them to hit .564. St. John Fisher won the match 3-0.

Recap: After a disappointing match against St. John Fisher, Houghton traveled to Kidera Gym to take on Nazareth University. Unlike the first match, Houghton found some offensive success hitting .117 but struggled to stop the Golden Flyers offense allowing them to hit .333. The Highlanders fought hard, but eventually fell to Nazareth 3-0.
