Fisher Shocks Highlanders with Golden Goal Overtime Penalty Stroke

HOUGHTON, NY – Sam Current hit the back of the cage on a golden-goal penalty stroke less than five minutes into overtime to lift the St. John Fisher Cardinals past the Houghton Highlanders, 3-2.

The Highlanders got on the board first in the 19th minute on a goal by Lilyana Good, but the Houghton lead would not last for long, as Current tied the score only 35 seconds later.
