Field Hockey Secures 10th Win of the Season with Another Offensive Explosion

HOUGHTON, NY – Needing a win to stay in contention for a top-four seed in the conference tournament, the Houghton Highlanders picked up an emphatic win, defeating the visiting Russell Sage Gators, 8-1.
 
Kylee Barshinger scored three goals, Adria Hartzler chipped in two more and an assist, and Courtney Waldridge recorded her first career two-goal game to lead the Highlanders attack.
 
Houghton has scored 15 goals in their past two games, and 25 goals in their past four.
 
The win secured double-digit victories for the Highlanders, a fete they have now accomplished in three of the past four seasons.
