#21 Knights' Offense Too Much for Highlanders

GENESEO, NY – The SUNY Geneseo Knights remained undefeated in Empire 8 conference play, defeating the visiting Houghton Highlanders in the regular-season finale, 7-2.
 
The Knights scored less than three minutes into the game and put away three goals in the first quarter.  They would score a goal in each of the next two quarters to take a 5-0 lead into the final 15 minutes.
 
Adria Hartzler put the Highlanders on the board in the 47th minute, scoring the first of her two goals on the day on an assists from Courtney Walbridge
 
The Knights, who currently rank second in the region, would match the Houghton tallies with two scores of their own, completing the scoring.
