HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton men's soccer dropped its fifth-straight match on Wednesday, losing 3-0 to St. John Fisher at home.
The Cardinals put two goals on the board in the first half, scoring in the 33rd and 41st minutes, and finished the job just 12 seconds into the second half to take the 3-0 win.
Fisher outshot the Highlanders, 24-5, on the night, including a 12-1 edge in shot on goal.
Marco Zanini got the start and allowed two goals with six saves in 45 minutes.
Stephen McLamb played the second half, allowing one goal and making three stops.
Houghton is back in action on Saturday, October 18 at 1 p.m. when they travel to take on SUNY Poly in another E8 clash.
