ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Houghton women's tennis closed its regular season with a 7-0 loss at Nazareth on Saturday.

The Golden Flyers took the doubles point with wins at all three matches by scores of 6-2, 6-1, 6-3, respectively.

In singles play, Arija Grant at second position, pushed her opponent to three sets before ultimately losing 6-4, 4-6, 6-7.

With the loss, the Highlanders wrap their regular season with a 4-8 record overall and a 3-5 mark in E8 play.

The Highlanders now set their sights on postseason play. They earned the No. 6 seed and will take on the No. 3 seed Golden Flyers once again in the E8 Tournament First Round on Tuesday, October 10 at 4 p.m.
