HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton track and field student-athlete Victoria Brewster has been named the Empire 8 Women's Indoor Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week after her performance during the week ending January 26.

The sophomore sprinter broke her own school and E8 record in the 60 meters at the Highlander Invitational on Saturday with a winning time of 7.64 seconds. The time is tops in the E8 and currently fifth in NCAA DIII. She also won the 200 in 26.13, which is the top time in the E8 for the season.

This is the second time this season Brewster has claimed the award.
