Box Score FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Houghton women's tennis just lost out on its second win of the season, losing 4-3 to Fredonia on the road.

Houghton took the point in doubles, winning two of the three matches, but lost 4 of the 6 singles matchups.

"Today was a tough loss. After securing the doubles point I made some adjustments and that's what ended up costing us in singles," said Head Coach Jordan Crouch. "Victoria and Clancey picked up wins in singles for us. Have to fix some things tomorrow in practice in order for us to be able to compete Saturday against a strong Sage team. Let's go Highlanders"

Houghton hosts Sage on Saturday at noon.
