ROCHESTER, NY – Sofia LaFalce tapped in a cross from the right side less than a minute-and-a-half into the game, giving the #21-ranked University of Rochester Yellowjackets all the offense they would need, as they handed the visiting Houghton Highlanders their first loss of the season.

The Yellowjackets displayed a stifling defense, not allowing a single shot or corner from a Houghton offense that had averaged 3.5 goals, 12.2 shots, and 8.4 corners per game through the first five games of the season.

Houghton would keep the score at 1-0 until the second half, when Rochester would tack on three more insurance goals, the last of which game less than a minute-and-a-half before the final whistle.
Goalkeeper
Amber Cribbs logged 16 saves for the Highlanders.
