ONEONTA, N.Y. -- Hartwick remained undefeated in E8 women's tennis action after a 9-0 win over visiting Houghton on Saturday.
The Hawks proved why they are atop the conference standings as they swept through all of the doubles and singles matches.
It was the fourth-straight win for Hartwick in the series, after Houghton had won the previous four meetings.
"Congrats to Coach Butcher and the Hartwick Hawks for a good win today. They are a great program and full of great talent," said Head Coach
Jordan Crouch. "They have a lot of strong players and it was a great test for us. I'm excited for our last week of the season against Alfred and Naz. Let's Go Highlanders!"
Houghton's next match is set for Wednesday, October 9 when they travel to take on the Alfred Saxons at 4 p.m., before closing the season at home vs. Nazareth on Saturday, October 12.
