ELMIRA, N.Y. -- Houghton women's soccer dropped its final regular season game of the campaign, 3-1, on the road to Elmira on Wednesday afternoon.
While the Highlanders were already heading to E8 postseason play, the win for the Soaring Eagles put them into the E8 tournament for the first time since 2005.

>> With their season on the line, the Soaring Eagles came out strong, getting a shot and earning two corners in the first four minutes before putting in the first goal of the game in the fifth minute.
