HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Freshman Andrew Berardicurti scored in the 86th minute to push Houghton men's soccer to a 2-2 tie vs. Sage on Senior Day at Burke Field on Saturday afternoon.

Berardicurti's goal came four minutes after the Gators went ahead 2-1.

>> The first half was evenly played but the Gators were able to break through with the first goal in the 22nd minute.
>> Freshman John Fay evened the score in the 43rd minute off an assist from senior Caleb Bailey.

Sophomore Kealon Knight took the honors and his long throw went over several players in the box, took one bounce, and Berardicurti made a well-timed run to volley the ball over the Sage keeper from four yards out.
>> Houghton had two quality chances to get the winner in the final minute, but shots by Alex Kalivoda and Sam O'Brien were turned away by the Sage keeper.
