HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Fifteen members of the Houghton men's and women's outdoor track and field teams have been recognized by the Empire 8 after their performances at the 2023 E8 Outdoor Championships.
 
Both teams finished fourth in their respective championships.
 
The following student-athletes earned All-Conference honors:

One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2023 Outdoor Track & Field Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year Teams. The Empire 8 Conference emphasizes that "Competing with Honor and Integrity" is an essential component of a student-athlete's experience in conjunction with an institution's educational mission. These honorees have distinguished themselves and consistently exhibit the critical traits as outstanding sportswomen and sportsmen.

Houghton's representatives on the team are Mary Shaker and Evan Kurtz.
