"We were very happy with how the regionals crew performed the last couple of days. The obvious highlights were
Caleb Kasper breaking a 23 year-old school record, and
Rachel Domaracki making the podium, and a huge PR, in the men's and women's 10k, respectively," said Head Coach
Patrick Hager. "Both high jumpers made attempts at the personal best height, and that's exactly what you want. I think it was hard for everyone to walk away from the meet because of how tight this crew is. That's what I'm most proud of."
The team had 27 top-10 all-time performances this outdoor season, and one school record. "We weren't thrilled with the 5
th place finishes at Empire 8, but put up very good point totals that bested 2022 results," added Hager. "I think it's maybe the most women's all-conference selections we've had since we've been in the Empire 8."
The All-E8 selections will be announced after the NCAA National Championship meet.
