BROCKPORT, NY – The track & field teams traveled to SUNY Brockport on Friday and Saturday to compete against many regional teams, which included NCAA Division I, II, and III competition. The University of Toronto was also in attendance. The teams faired very well, and are starting to hit their stride, as they enter mid-season competition for indoor track & field. Thirteen performances in this meet made it onto the all-time Houghton top 10 lists. This is by far the most of any meet this season, and a sign that things are really starting to click for the Highlanders.

"I figure that if we keep getting athletes on top 10 all-time lists, then we keep moving forward as a program. This comes at ideal timing for us. A lot of these top 10 athletes are prepping for Boston next week, and the others will be riding a high as they rest from competition next weekend and into our championship push. As the great Bruce Denton would say, from Once A Runner, "how nicely of you to have arrived, just on time." I'm excited to keep pushing with this group," remarked Coach Hager after the meet.
Several Highlander track & field athletes will travel to Boston University to compete on February 10-11.
