HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton women's soccer wrapped up their regular season schedule with an important 3-1 win over Keuka on Wednesday at Burke Field.

With the win, the Highlanders secured the No. 4 seed and a first round home game in the Empire 8 Postseason Tournament that starts Saturday.

>> Freshman Karryne Mims tallied her team-leading seventh goal of the season in the 16th minute to stake Houghton to a 1-0 lead.
>> The Highlanders took that one-goal lead into the break and into the 61st minute when Mims found Natalie Milne with a perfectly placed pass in front of the net. Milne redirected the service past the keeper and into the net for her fourth goal of the campaign.
>> Houghton's third goal was credited as an own goal in the 65th minute, but it was Mims who created the chance with strong play in front of the net that resulted in the Keuka defender and keeper knocking the loose ball into the goal.
>> The Wolves scored 10 minutes later to break up Houghton's shutout bid.
