ROCHESTER, NY – The Houghton track & field teams competed at RIT on Friday evening against mostly NCAA Division III competition. This was their second meet of the new year, and several top Empire 8 marks and all-time Houghton track & field marks were set.
Caleb Kasper (5k),
Rachel Domaracki (5k), and
Amanda Burrichter (3k) all won their events in times that sit either #1 or #2 in the Empire 8 Conference. Kasper's mark was also the #9 all-time performance in Houghton history.

"These were some very good checkpoints for our second meet back. We have a few injuries that we need to take care of, but a lot of our athletes are very fit, and competing very well. Our training volume is high, at the moment, so our focus is to continue hitting key workouts, and prepping towards the Empire 8 Championships," said Coach Hager about the RIT meet.

th, at SUNY Brockport.
