Six Track Athletes Set to Compete at Regional Meet

HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Six members of the Houghton outdoor track and field team will participate in the 2022 AARTF Outdoor Championships at Moravian University on May 18-19.

For the women, Alexandria Wisniewski will race in the 400 meter hurdles, Hayden Williamson will compete in the high jump, while Rachel Domaracki will race in the 10,000 meters. On the men's side, Dave Russo and Dillon Bell qualified for the 10,000 meters and Jack Howard will race in the 400 meter hurdles.

"Having athletes qualify for Regionals is starting to become a habit and expectation for our best athletes," said Head Coach Patrick Hager. "Empire 8 is an emotional meet, and we did a mini peak for it. However, these athletes are all ready for a strong finish to their seasons on Wednesday and Thursday. It doesn't get said a lot, but this is really a year long prep in the making."
