HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton women's soccer moved one step closer to earning a postseason berth after a 3-0 home Empire 8 win vs. Medaille on Wednesday night.

The Highlanders scored twice in the opening half and added an insurance goal early in the second to claim the win.

>> Natalie Milne opened the scoring for the Highlanders with her fourth goal of the year off an assist from Sarah Potocki in the 34th minute.
