AURORA, NY – Deborah Cross scored four goals to lead the Houghton Highlanders to their second straight win on Tuesday night, defeating the Wells Express, 12-1.
Houghton scored their first goal just over a minute into the game when Rebekah Davie slotted a pass from
Jace Hunzinger past the Express goalie.
The Highlanders would score four total goals in the first quarter then add three more in the second to take a 7-0 lead into the half.
Houghton would later add two more goals in the third quarter, and another three in the fourth, while Wells would pick up their only goal in the 51
st minute of play.
Seven Houghton players scored goals on the day.
