ROCHESTER, N.Y. – St. John Fisher scored the game-winner in the 103rd minute to take a 2-1 OT win over Houghton men's soccer Thursday night.
The Cardinals opened the scoring in the 39th minute and took that 1-0 lead into the break. Houghton held an 8-7 shots advantage over the first 45 minutes.
The Highlanders were able to pull even in the 60th minute when
Daniel Myers centered the ball to
Julius Klohr who turned and fired his shot past the Fisher keeper.
The score stay tied at one through the rest of regulation and the first 12 minutes of overtime until Ben Woolingham headed in the winner for his second goal of the contest.
