Women's Soccer Stunned by Last-Minute Goal

OSWEGO, NY The Houghton College Women's Soccer team dropped their second game of the season on a last-minute goal.  With the score tied, 1-1, Oswego's Liz Meyers (Monroe, NY) found the bottom-right corner of the net with only 14 seconds remaining on the clock to push the Lakers past the Highlanders.
 
Oswego freshman Katharine Balog (Rome, NY) started the scoring with a goal off of a Graisa Madden (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) pass at the 35 minute mark.
 
Three minutes later, Houghton freshman Mikayla Simons (Hong Kong) responded by knocking in her first goal of the season off of a corner kick that Moriah Steffen (Kidron, OH) headed her way.
