COACH'S CORNER

"Not the result we were hoping for, obviously, but I believe this team is going to keep leaning in and trying to build an understanding of the way we hope to play. Brockport was a solid opponent and wanted it more in this match. We are going to learn from our mistakes and get back to work on Monday. We cannot cheat the process and this team is only going to continue to develop. The girls responded well after halftime, but we need to start the games with the same mentality we have been playing with in the second half. The good news is we have another week to train, play, and improve before entering conference play."      -Coach Nikki Elsasser
