HOUGHTON, NY – The Geneseo Knights scored four goals in the first nine minutes of play in route to a 5-1 victory over the Houghton Highlanders on Wednesday evening.
The Knights opened the scoring in the second minute off a penalty corner, then scored again two minutes later on another corner.
Geneseo would tack on two more insurance goals over the next five-plus minutes.

Hannah Daniels, who scored her third goal of the season from just inside the circle.
The Highlanders would outshoot the Knights in the second quarter, 6-1, but could not find the back of the cage a second time.
