HOUGHTON, N.Y. -- Houghton women's lacrosse lost its first Empire 8 contest of the season, 21-2, to Nazareth on Thursday at Burke Field.
The Golden Flyers scored three times in the game's first three minutes and led 14-0 before Houghton was able to get on the board with a tally from
Alyssa Strom with 5:53 left in the first half. The only other Highlander goal came off the stick of
Elizabeth Piszker five minutes into the second half.
