HOUGHTON, NY – The Highlander men's lacrosse team took on the Grove City Wolverines today at Burke Field.  The Wolverines stuck first, but Quinn Hull answered back to tie it up on a Nate Anderson assist.  Grove City would answer back with 5 unanswered goals to take a 6-1 lead after the 1st quarter.

Nate Anderson found the net early in the 2nd quarter to cut into the Wolverines lead.  Grove City answered with back to back to back goals, before Cole Chapman found the net on another Nate Anderson assist to make it 9-3 in favor of Grove City.  The Wolverines punched one in just before the half to lead 10-3 at the break.  

The Wolverines scored three goals in the third quarter to extend their lead to 13-3.

Grove City would extend their lead to 15-3 on 2 quick goals to start the 4th quarter.  Cole Chapman would sling one in for the Highlanders on an assist from Jonathan Mayer to make it 15-4.  The Wolverines struck three more times to take home the win 18-4.

Bryce Bellan had 16 saves in the goal for the Highlanders.
