HOUGHTON, NY – The Lady Highlanders lost to Medaille at Burke Field tonight, 18-6.   Meagan Barry found the net first for the Highlanders giving them an early lead, but Medaille answered right back to tie it up.  The Mavericks took a 4-3 lead about half way though the 1st half before Marissa Hews stuck one to tie it back up.  Medaille would then score 3 unanswered to make the score 7-4.  Alyssa Strom would find the net one more time in the half for Houghton, and Medaille scored twice more to lead 9-5 at the half.

Medaille would strike first in the second half with 7 unanswered goals, until Cori Beck ended the drought with her first career goal.  Medaille scored 2 more to take home the win 18-6.  Six different Highlanders scored one goal a piece in the game.  Sarah Olandt had 13 saves in the goal for Houghton.
