HOUGHTON, N.Y. – Houghton women's basketball lost to Geneva College, 61-65, on the road Tuesday night.
Geneva took to the court early on, taking an 11 point lead within the first three minutes and held onto the lead going into halftime, 21-9. The Highlanders would come in strong and rally coming into the second half of the game, closing the gap at the end of the third quarter, 43-45.
However, it would not be enough, the Golden Tornadoes would pick up steam again in the fourth quarter and claim the game at the end of the night.
