Lambert Moves Into Sixth Place on All-Time Scoring List as Highlanders Fall to Hawks

HAMBURG, NY – Dylan Lambert moved into sixth place on the Houghton Highlander all-time scoring list with a 33-point effort, but it was not enough to defeat the Hilbert Hawks in Monday night's non-conference matchup, 71-93.

The Highlanders grabbed a one-point lead early in the second half on a Jordan Holmes jumper, and kept pace until nearly midway through the final period.

In the final 13 minutes, though, the Hawks offense caught fire, outscoring the Highlanders by 17 points the remainder of the way.

>> Lambert's 33 points give him 1,359 for his career, moving him past Harold Spooner ('74) on the all-time scoring list.  Lambert now needs only 150 points this season to pass Darren Berkley ('93) for fifth-place.
