The Houghton community is invited to the inaugural Luckey's Christmas on the Court celebration on Saturday, December 8 in the Nielsen Center.

The event is the perfect break for students between classes and finals and centers around the home Highlander women's and men's basketball games against SUNY Delhi at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Festivities will include performances by the Houghton Cheerleaders and the Youth Cheernastics program, Houghton A Capella and the Highlander Drumline.

Christmas concessions and Christmas-themed contests and prizes will be featured throughout the afternoon. CAB Club and an Ugly Sweater contest are also planned. 

The first 75 fans at each game will get a Santa hat. Fans are encouraged to bring a toy to donate for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee fundraiser.

Fillmore K-3 students are also participating in a coloring contest, with all the entries on display and the winning pictures from each grade taking home a stocking filled with Christmas goodies.
