BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Houghton women's basketball won their first game in the Brockport Tip-Off Tournament against SUNY Morrisville, 65-47, on Friday night.

The Mustangs would lead in the first quarter (12-15), but the Highlanders would rally and take control of the game from the second quarter on.

Amber Edwards would lead the Highlanders in points, scoring 14 throughout the game, with 6 baskets made in the paint.

With this win and D'Youville's loss to Brockport (85-74), the Highlanders will play host Brockport State in the championship of tournament tomorrow at 4pm.
